HISTORICAL BACKGROUND

Danja LGEA was created on 27 th September, 1991 out of Bakori LGA. The following education Secretaries served from 1999 to date

CONTRIBUTION OF LOCAL GOVERNMENT

• Construction of the three blocks of two classrooms at Galadima, M/Dabai and Bazanga Primary Schools
• Provision of ten thousand copies of testimonials
• Provision of twenty thousand copies of Exercise Books
• Provision of five hundred, three seater desks
• Paid all examination expenses to LGEA
• Constructed new schools at Alhazawa, Ungwar Barau, Dogon Dawa, Ungwar Jjaye, Gidan Dawa and sundun Fure.
• Recruitment of five hundred teachers under Poverty Alleviation programme.
• Construction of one block of two classrooms at Chediya, Hurgu, Bamo and Maiguta primary schools.
• provision of three thousand seater desks to primary schools
• Construction of new LGEA Headquarters worth Ten Million naira.

DONOR AGENCIES – WORL BANK / UBEC

• World Bank donated the sum of three Hundred Thousand Naira in 2004 to the following schools for different projects.

In 2006, four schools were selected for the following projects:
